Rock Point

Rock Point is one of our most popular group run locations throughout the summer and fall - and it’s pretty easy to see why! This hidden gem is managed by the local Episcopal Diocese and open to the public for dog-walking (leashed), hiking, and running. Well-maintained blue-blazed trails follow the shoreline of Lake Champlain and offer some of the best lake views in Burlington. It is a gorgeous place to catch sunset!
One of our favorite routes is to connect Rock Point with nearby Arms Forest (5.5 miles) from downtown Burlington.
Route: Rock Point + Arms Forest (5.5 mi)
Route: BTV Trails Link-up (13 mi)
Post-Run: Swimming at North Beach, creemees (Burlington Bay), brews and snacks (Foam Brewers, Deep City, Skinny Pancake). Or chill on the waterfront green with a BYOB and watch the sun sink behind the ADKs.
