Mud Pond

Just 20 minutes from Burlington, the winding fairytale forests of Mud Pond are a gem. It’s the perfect spot for a relatively short (3-3.5 mi) singletrack loop, or can be combined with neighboring trail systems via dirt roads for a much longer run. This multi-use trail system is used yearround by runners, hikers, dog walkers, cross-country skiers and winter fat biking.
Mud Pond is located on a mix of private and public lands - please be respectful of the landowners who permit us to play on them by obeying all signs, including trail closures and parking areas.
Route: Williston Trails Link-Up (13 mi)
Post-Run: Goodwater Brewing and Williston Coffee Shop are great choices for a post-run beverage. Nearby Burlington Beer Company offers cans to-go (taproom now in Burlington proper) and Healthy Living offers many prepared food options (if you can afford it $$$).
